Scope of Agreement:
These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of products and the provision of installation and support services offered by SecuritySystems.sg. By placing an order or using our Services, you agree to comply with these Terms and any policies referenced herein. This Agreement applies to all product sales, installations, and related services provided by SecuritySystems.sg, unless otherwise agreed in writing. It does not cover products or services acquired from unauthorized sellers or third parties.
Account Registration:
You may be required to create an account or provide certain information to complete a purchase. Accounts must contain accurate, up-to-date information and are intended for individual use. You agree to keep your account credentials confidential and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. By registering or checking out on our site, you also agree to comply with these Terms and any other policies (including our Privacy Policy).
Product Orders & Pricing:
- Delivery Location: Orders are valid for delivery in Singapore only.
- Pricing: All product prices are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and may change without notice.
- Order Confirmation: The final price (including any applicable taxes and fees) will be confirmed at checkout.
- Order Cancellation: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion (for example, in the event of pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraud).
- Customer Responsibility: Customers must ensure that all order details (such as shipping address and contact information) are accurate before placing an order. All prices include applicable taxes.
Payment Methods:
- Credit/Debit Card: We accept major credit and debit cards online via a secure, SSL-encrypted payment gateway. Payments are processed in SGD at the time of order.
- PayNow / Online Transfer: You may also pay by PayNow (bank transfer) or other online methods. If you choose this option, please follow the instructions at checkout; our sales team will confirm your order once payment is received.
- Cash on Delivery (COD): COD is available for all local Singapore orders. Select “Cash on Delivery” at checkout and pay the courier in cash (or other accepted tender) upon delivery.
Shipping & Delivery:
- Delivery Locations: We ship only to physical addresses in Singapore. No international shipping is offered. Delivery charges (if any) and estimated delivery dates will be shown at checkout.
- Processing Time: Orders typically require 1–3 business days to process and dispatch. This does not include transit time.
- Shipping Costs: Shipping fees vary based on order weight, size, and delivery location. Any applicable shipping cost will be shown at checkout. (For example, we may offer free shipping for orders above a certain value, as noted on our site.)
- Tracking: A tracking number and shipping details will be emailed to you once your order ships. You can use this information to monitor delivery status.
- Delivery Variations: Delivery timelines are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs clearance, weather, or other factors beyond our control.
- Risk of Loss: Title and risk of loss pass to you once the carrier has confirmed delivery. You should inspect all packages upon receipt and notify us immediately of any damage or missing items.
Installation & Support:
We offer professional installation and support services for many of our products. Installation must be scheduled by appointment at a mutually agreed time. Separate installation fees and service charges apply and will be quoted prior to scheduling. Once an installation order is confirmed, our team will contact you to arrange on-site setup. In addition, our customer service staff is available to provide technical support and advice for system setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Returns & Refunds:
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. You may request a return or exchange by contacting us within 7 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be unused, in original condition, and in their original packaging. All original accessories, manuals, and proof of purchase must be returned. Returns may be subject to a restocking fee to cover handling and inspection costs.
- Exclusions: We do not accept returns for products that have been installed, used, or altered, or for products customized to your specifications. Service fees (including installation, maintenance packages, etc.) are non-refundable once the service has been performed. Defective products will be handled according to the manufacturer’s warranty (see Warranty below).
- Refunds: Approved returns will be refunded to the original payment method within a reasonable processing time. You may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the return was due to our error or a defective item.
Warranty Disclaimer:
Products sold on SecuritySystems.sg may include limited warranties offered by their manufacturers. SecuritySystems.sg does not make any additional warranties and sells products “as is,” except for any coverage explicitly provided by the manufacturer. We expressly disclaim all other warranties (express or implied), including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. SecuritySystems.sg is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from improper installation, unauthorized modification, misuse, accident, or any other cause beyond our control.
Any warranties for installation or services are defined in the applicable service agreement. To make a manufacturer warranty claim, you must follow the manufacturer’s warranty process and provide proof of purchase.
Limitation of Liability:
- Excluded Damages: SecuritySystems.sg and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your purchase or use of our products or services. This includes (without limitation) any loss of profits, data, or business interruption.
- Liability Cap: Our total liability for any claim related to a product or service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that product or service.
- Applicability: These limitations apply whether the claim is in contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Governing Law:
These Terms and your use of our website or services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your purchase will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
